Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced PPC Manager to manage production planning, scheduling, material availability, inventory control, and production coordination. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely production as per customer requirements while maintaining optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and business requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, Sales, and Dispatch departments.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of planned production.
- Check availability of raw materials, consumables, manpower, and machine capacity before finalizing production plans.
- Prepare and monitor production schedules according to machine capacity and priority.
- Track actual production against planned production and identify deviations.
- Take corrective action to minimize production delays, bottlenecks, and downtime.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods, and raw material inventory.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and avoid excess or shortage of materials.
- Analyze machine capacity, production efficiency, and manpower utilization.
- Prepare daily and monthly production reports and MIS.
- Monitor production KPIs such as production achievement, productivity, rejection, downtime, and delivery performance.
- Identify bottlenecks in the production process and coordinate with concerned departments for resolution.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce wastage, and optimize production costs.
- Ensure production activities are carried out as per quality, safety, and company standards.
- Maintain PPC-related records, planning documents, reports, and production data.
- Provide regular production status updates to management.
- Ensure customer delivery commitments are supported through effective production planning.

Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in Steel, Metal, Engineering, Manufacturing, Rolling Mill, Fabrication, or other process/manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Experience
8–12 years in manufacturing, preferably steel, metal, engineering, or similar industries.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering preferred
- Diploma in Mechanical / Production may be considered based on experience
- Additional certification in Production Planning, Supply Chain, or Operations is an advantage
- Good working knowledge of SAP Business One (SAP B1) for production planning, production orders, inventory management, material requirements planning (MRP), stock monitoring, and production reporting.
- Experience in using SAP B1 for BOM, production orders, material planning, inventory/WIP tracking, and MIS reports.
- Ability to coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, and Accounts teams through SAP B1.
Pay: ₹19,458.61 - ₹66,843.30 per month
