Job Title: Lab Technician/phlebotomist
Department: Clinical Laboratory
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Lab Technician to join our family clinic ). The technician will be responsible for specimen collection, diagnostic testing, equipment maintenance, and ensuring timely and accurate results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood, urine, swabs, and other specimens from patients.
- Conduct routine lab tests (e.g., CBC, blood sugar, urine analysis).
- Perform phlebotomy procedures with precision.
- Safely transport samples to partner labs or between branches when needed.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment regularly.
- Label, store, and document samples correctly.
- Generate accurate lab reports and update patient records.
- Follow all infection control, safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Maintain inventory of lab materials and request replenishments in a timely manner.
- Provide support for home sample collection if required.

Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT or equivalent).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinic or diagnostic lab preferred.

- Proficient in handling lab software and report entry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
