- Maintaining a Safe Environment: Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients, implementing ward policies, and adhering to safety protocols are also part of the role.
- Collaboration and Communication: Staff nurses work as part of a healthcare team, collaborating with doctors, other nurses, and support staff to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively.
- Technical Skills: This includes tasks like collecting specimens for lab tests, performing basic diagnostic procedures (e.g., urine analysis, hemoglobin check), and assisting with medical and surgical procedures.
