Skills and experience
- Experience of 3-6 years as a Content Writer/editor in a publishing firm.
- Ability to research, create and curate high-quality content in education, careers related areas.
- Ability to complete the tasks assigned within the stipulated time-frame.
- Excellent grasp of the English language.
Responsibilities
- Copy-edit, proofread and review subject content.
- Check language and facts.
- Check if the content matches the age group and the class level.
- Create quality products maintaining consistency and accuracy of text / illustrations / diagrams / figures / maps.
- Proofread content for errors and ensure that content is written per instructions.
- Copy, edit and proofread content created by other content writers.
- Format chapters with typesetters.
- Check for potential legal/copyright problems (ensure the content is plagiarism free and doesn't exist in any competitor's texts).
