Job Description
As a Data Research Associate at Rise Substrates, you will play a key role in identifying potential clients and supporting the company’s sales and marketing efforts.
You will focus on conducting detailed research to understand industry trends, locate relevant companies, and gather essential contact information.
Your work will directly contribute to expanding our reach in the global market for premium coir products while ensuring a well-maintained and accurate database.
ResponsibilitiesProduct and Industry Understanding
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Rise Substrates' product portfolio, including coir grow bags, coco peat, coir geotextiles, and custom substrate blends for horticulture, floriculture, hydroponics, and cannabis cultivation.
- Stay informed about industry developments, market demands, and competitor activities.
Target Company Identification
- Research and identify companies in horticulture, agriculture, floriculture, hydroponics, and related industries worldwide that align with Rise Substrates' product offerings.
- Evaluate whether identified companies currently use coir products or have the potential to incorporate them into their operations.
Contact Research and Data Collection
- Gather and verify accurate contact information, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and job roles for relevant decision-makers such as procurement managers, purchasing managers, buyers, and sourcing specialists.
- Utilize tools such as LinkedIn, online directories, company websites, and other research platforms for data collection.
Data Management
- Organize and maintain contact details in Microsoft Excel or CRM tools, ensuring data accuracy and proper categorization for easy access.
- Conduct regular audits of the database to maintain completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
Requirements
- Strong research skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, LinkedIn, and web research platforms.
- Ability to analyze data and identify potential business opportunities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Prior experience in data research, lead generation, or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of the horticulture, agriculture, or coir industry is an added advantage.
