- Proactively engage with customers, identifying their needs and preferences to suggest suitable

- Utilize sales techniques and strategies to maximize sales opportunities and average transaction value.
- Participate in sales training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills
- Identify the "why" behind the purchase (e.g., an apology, a graduation, or a 20th anniversary) to suggest pieces that carry the right emotional weight.
- Confidently address concerns regarding price, stone quality, or durability without being pushy
- Explain how Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat weight interact to determine a diamond’s value and brilliance.
- Understand the differences between 14k vs. 18k gold, platinum, and silver, including their durability and hypoallergenic properties.
- Advise clients on how to clean and store specific stones (e.g., explaining why ultrasonic cleaners are safe for diamonds but can damage emeralds or opals).
- Master the transition from admiration to purchase, often involving sensitive discussions about financing or custom alterations.
- Accurately process sales transactions, handle payments, and provide customers with receipts.
- Consistently meet and maintain sales performance metrics as established by management.
Store Operations
- Be vigilant about items on display to prevent theft.
- Ensure that lighting is perfectly positioned to catch the facets of the stones and that displays are free of fingerprints.
- Participate in "open and close" counts where every single item is scanned and verified daily.
Customer Service
- Build rapport with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Keep notes of what a regular client liked so they can be attended better for future visits
- Schedule "Check and Clean" appointments to maintain the jewelry and keep the brand top-of-mind.
- Follow up with leads and the customer visiting the store, through telephone and email, and closing the sale
- Courier catalogues, brochures, offers, pricelists, etc. to customers as and when required
- Send festival & special day wishes to customers
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, returns & repairs professionally and efficiently by providing timely and appropriate solutions.
- Actively solicit customer feedback to improve customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
