Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-platform social media strategy aligned with overall business and marketing goals
Build and manage a monthly editorial content calendar across all platforms
Identify emerging trends, platform algorithm changes, and audience insights to stay ahead of the curve
Conduct competitive analysis and benchmark the brand against industry peers
Content Creation & Production
Conceptualise, produce, and publish high-quality content — including short-form videos, long-form videos, carousels, graphics, reels, and written posts
Manage end-to-end YouTube channel operations: scripting, production direction, SEO-optimised titles/descriptions/thumbnails, and growth strategy
Lead LinkedIn content strategy: thought leadership posts, company updates, employee advocacy, and newsletter/articles
Create and maintain a consistent brand voice, visual identity, and tone of voice across all platforms
Collaborate with designers, videographers, and copywriters to bring content visions to life
Platform Management
Own accounts across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and other relevant platforms
Schedule, publish, and manage posts using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Later)
Actively manage community interactions — responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and on-brand manner
Manage influencer and creator partnerships, including outreach, briefing, and performance tracking
Analytics & Reporting
Track, analyse, and report on KPIs including reach, impressions, engagement rate, follower growth, video views, CTR, and conversions
Use platform-native analytics (YouTube Studio, LinkedIn Analytics) alongside tools like Google Analytics and third-party dashboards
Provide weekly/monthly performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations
Run A/B tests on content formats, posting times, CTAs, and creative to continuously optimise performance
Paid Social (Bonus / Desirable)
Support or lead paid social campaigns on LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Ads, and Meta Ads
Work with the performance marketing team to amplify organic content through paid promotion
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of hands-on experience in social media strategy, content creation, or digital marketing
Proven track record of growing social media accounts organically with measurable results
Deep expertise in YouTube — including channel strategy, SEO, audience retention, and YouTube Studio analytics
Strong proficiency in LinkedIn content strategy — thought leadership, B2B engagement, and LinkedIn newsletter/articles
Proficiency in Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter) ecosystems
Experience with social media management and scheduling tools
Strong understanding of social media algorithms and best practices for each platform
Solid analytical skills — comfortable working with data to draw insights and make decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for detail
Basic to intermediate graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar)
Basic video editing proficiency (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent)
Nice to Have
Experience running LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Ads, or Meta Ads campaigns
Knowledge of SEO principles and how they intersect with social and content strategy
Experience working with CRM or marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, etc.)
Prior experience in a startup, agency, or fast-paced environment
Familiarity with AI-powered content tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Descript)
