Job Summary
The Senior HR Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day Human Resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll support, statutory compliance, attendance management, performance management, training coordination, HR documentation, and employee engagement. The role ensures compliance with hospital policies, labour laws, and NABH standards while supporting organizational goals through effective HR practices.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Coordinate manpower requisitions with department heads.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, consultants, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews.
- Coordinate interview panels and maintain recruitment records.
- Conduct reference and background verification.
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and joining documentation.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees.
2. Employee Onboarding & Documentation
- Complete joining formalities and employee file creation.
- Maintain personal files with all mandatory documents.
- Update employee records in the HRMS.
- Issue employee ID cards and employment-related letters.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records.
3. Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor daily attendance through biometric systems.
- Verify attendance discrepancies with department heads.
- Process leave applications and maintain leave records.
- Prepare attendance reports for payroll processing.
- Monitor absenteeism and late-coming.
4. Payroll & Compensation Support
- Prepare monthly payroll inputs.
- Verify attendance, leave, overtime, and statutory deductions.
- Coordinate salary processing with Finance/Payroll.
- Resolve employee salary-related queries.
- Maintain payroll documentation.
5. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, Labour Welfare Fund, Professional Tax, Bonus, and Gratuity regulations.
- Maintain statutory registers and records.
- Coordinate statutory inspections and audits.
- Assist in labour law compliance and documentation.
6. Employee Relations
- Address employee grievances professionally.
- Support disciplinary proceedings.
- Draft warning letters, memos, and show-cause notices.
- Promote positive employee relations.
- Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct.
7. Performance Management
- Coordinate probation evaluations.
- Assist in annual performance appraisals.
- Maintain appraisal documentation.
- Track employee confirmation and promotions.
8. Training & Development
- Coordinate induction programmes.
- Organize internal and external training sessions.
- Maintain training records.
- Assist in Training Need Analysis (TNA).
- Evaluate training effectiveness.
9. HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain HR policies and SOPs.
- Prepare monthly HR MIS reports.
- Support NABH documentation and HR audits.
- Ensure compliance with HR processes and hospital standards.
10. Employee Engagement
- Organize employee engagement activities.
- Coordinate celebrations and recognition programmes.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys.
- Support welfare initiatives.
