Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and innovative TGT Science Teacher with STEM Lab experience to teach Classes VI–X in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The candidate should be capable of integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) concepts into classroom teaching and hands-on laboratory activities to promote inquiry-based and experiential learning.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or related field).
- B.Ed. (Mandatory).
- CTET/TET qualification preferred.
- Certification or training in STEM Education, Robotics, Coding, AI, or Innovation Labs will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
- Experience in handling STEM Labs, Robotics Labs, ATL Labs, or Innovation Labs.
- Experience in mentoring students for Science Olympiads, Exhibitions, and Project Competitions preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science) to Classes VI–X as per CBSE guidelines.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons using activity-based and experiential learning methodologies.
- Manage and conduct STEM Lab sessions involving robotics, coding, electronics, 3D models, engineering design challenges, and scientific investigations.
- Design and implement interdisciplinary STEM projects aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Conduct science experiments, demonstrations, and practical activities while ensuring laboratory safety.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and project-based learning activities.
- Organize Science Exhibitions, STEM Challenges, Olympiads, Innovation Fairs, and ATL/STEM-related events.
- Assess student performance through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Integrate technology, digital tools, simulations, and smart classroom resources into teaching.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and records of STEM activities.
- Participate actively in PTMs, school events, faculty meetings, and professional development programs.
Skills Required
- Strong subject knowledge in Science.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in STEM tools, robotics kits, coding platforms, and digital teaching technologies.
- Ability to foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving among students.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and Smart Board technologies.
