Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated NICU Nurse to join our neonatal care team at our Gandhipuram hospital. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care to premature, critically ill, and high-risk newborns while supporting families throughout their baby's NICU stay. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to premature and critically ill neonates.
- Monitor and record vital signs, oxygen saturation, temperature, and other clinical parameters.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and nutrition as prescribed by the neonatologist.
- Operate and monitor NICU equipment including incubators, CPAP, ventilators, infusion pumps, and phototherapy units.
- Assist with neonatal procedures and emergency resuscitation when required.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
- Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient safety at all times.
- Educate and support parents regarding newborn care, breastfeeding, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.

Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration.
- Certification in BLS and NRP (preferred).
- NICU experience is preferred; freshers with strong clinical skills may also apply based on organizational requirements.
Experience
- 0–5 years of experience in NICU, PICU, or Pediatric Nursing.
- Prior experience in a multispecialty or tertiary care hospital is an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong neonatal assessment and critical care skills.
- Knowledge of NICU protocols and infection control practices.
- Ability to respond quickly during neonatal emergencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
