We are looking for a talented WordPress developer to develop e-commerce portal. The ideal candidate should be mature, problem solver, energetic and experienced in WordPress framework, PHP, MySQL with exposure to writing dynamic/optimized code, queries and stored procedures. Must have knowledge of configuring development framework of WordPress and well versed with best practices in coding and documentation.
- BS/MS in Computer science, or related
- Should be able to design and develop news and magazine portal using WordPress framework
- Expert understanding of WordPress’s code structure, extension architecture, template hierarchy, and fallback components, payment gateway
- Apache Server experience
- Must have strong working knowledge of programming in WordPress framework, PHP
- Good working knowledge of Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, Zend, XML, JQuery, AngularJS
- Must have strong working knowledge of MySQL database encompassing design of Tables, Queries, Joins, Views, Stored procedures and Triggers.
- Good knowledge in SEO and SMO
- Mobile application: Android, IOS is a plus
- Multitasking skills with the ability to priorities work
- Good graphic designing skills
- Ability to solve problems independently, creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Familiarization with each stage of the software lifecycle, including but not limited to user studies, feasibility, estimation, design, implementation, integration, test and acceptance
- Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team and have a dedicated approach to working within and meeting strict deadlines
