The Trainee Engineer (Production) will be trained in manufacturing processes, production planning, quality control, and shop floor operations. The role focuses on developing technical and practical skills required to support efficient production and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities :-
1. Production Support
- Assist in daily production activities on the shop floor
- Support supervisors in achieving production targets
- Monitor workflow and ensure smooth operations
2. Process Learning & Implementation
- Learn manufacturing processes such as:
- Sheet metal fabrication
- Assembly processes
- Machine operations (CNC, bending, cutting, etc.)
- Understand standard operating procedures (SOPs)
3. Quality Control
- Assist in quality inspections at different production stages
- Ensure products meet required specifications and standards
- Report defects and support corrective actions
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain production records and reports
- Update daily production status and logs
- Assist in preparing work instructions and checklists
5. Coordination
- Coordinate with:
- Production team
- Quality team
- Stores and maintenance
- Ensure availability of materials and tools
6. Safety & Compliance
- Follow safety guidelines on the shop floor
- Use PPE and ensure safe working practices
- Participate in safety trainings and audits
