Job Description
Pentoz Hotels is a growing boutique hotel brand in Ooty. We are looking for a responsible and disciplined Caretaker to manage hotel operations during evening and night hours.
Responsibilities
- Handle guest check-in and check-out
- Manage late-night arrivals
- Answer calls and booking inquiries
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff
- Ensure rooms are clean and ready
- Handle walk-in customers and convert to bookings
- Maintain guest satisfaction and solve basic issues
- Send daily report (occupancy, bookings, issues)
Important Rules
- Strictly no alcohol during duty hours
- Must be alert and available throughout the shift
- Responsible behavior is mandatory
- No misbehavior with guests
Requirements
- Basic English & Tamil required
- Honest, responsible, and disciplined
- Comfortable with night shift
- Prior hotel experience is a plus (not mandatory)
Incentives
- ₹50 per bunk bed walk-in booking
- ₹200 per private room walk-in booking
