Job Title: Sales Engineer – Solar Power
Location: Goa, India
Experience Level: Min 2+ years in the solar power sector or Capital Goods
Job Summary:
- We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Sales Engineer with a strong
- background in the Electrical / solar power industry to join our team in Goa.
- Responsible for driving sales, developing client relationships, and providing technical expertise to promote our solar power solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with potential clients in the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors to generate sales leads.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients, ensuring consistent business growth.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and sales contracts tailored to client requirements.
- Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams to design and implement customized solar power systems.
- Stay updated on market trends, government policies, and incentives related to the electrical / solar energy sector in India.
- Assist clients in navigating processes like regulatory compliance, and financing options for Projects.
- Conduct site visits to assess technical feasibility and recommend optimal solutions for potential projects.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and client communications using CRM tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales or business development in the solar power industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Familiarity with Goa’s market, DISCOM policies and solar incentives, is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, and other sales tools.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
