We are expanding our presence in the European market and are looking for a talented Social Media Marketing Specialist to build brand awareness, grow our online community, and drive website traffic and bookings.
Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and performance-oriented Social Media Marketing Specialist with experience managing campaigns for European audiences. The ideal candidate understands travel trends, consumer behavior, and social media strategies across Europe and can create engaging content that converts followers into customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy
- Develop and execute social media strategies targeting the European travel market.
- Manage and grow PanJourney's presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and X (Twitter).
- Create monthly content calendars aligned with seasonal travel trends, holidays, and campaigns across Europe.
- Increase brand awareness, engagement, and organic website traffic.
Content Marketing
- Create engaging travel-related content, including posts, reels, stories, carousels, and short-form videos.
- Write compelling captions and travel content for European audiences.
- Coordinate with designers and video editors to produce high-quality creative assets.
- Stay updated with social media trends, platform changes, and viral content opportunities.
Community Management
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build an active travel community.
- Manage online reputation and encourage user-generated content.
- Collaborate with travel influencers and content creators across Europe.
Performance & Analytics
- Monitor engagement, impressions, follower growth, CTR, website traffic, and conversions.
- Analyze campaign performance using Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), LinkedIn Analytics, and other reporting tools.
- Optimize campaigns based on insights and audience behavior.
- Track competitor activities and recommend new growth opportunities.
Required Skills
- 1–4 years of experience in Social Media Marketing or Social Media Optimization.
- Experience managing social media accounts targeting European audiences.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and X (Twitter).
- Experience using Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools.
- Excellent written English communication skills.
- Understanding of social media algorithms and engagement strategies.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the travel, tourism, hospitality, or e-commerce industry.
- Familiarity with European travel trends and customer behavior.
- Experience collaborating with European influencers and travel creators.
- Basic SEO knowledge.
- Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, Midjourney, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of GDPR and digital marketing compliance within Europe.
- Knowledge of multiple European languages is a plus (German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Dutch).
