Job Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Area Visual Merchandiser to oversee visual merchandising activities across the North region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring brand consistency, executing merchandising strategies, conducting store audits, implementing planograms, and driving seasonal campaign execution across multiple retail locations.
Key Responsibilities
Store Compliance & Audits
- Conduct regular store audits to ensure adherence to Visual Merchandising guidelines and brand standards.
- Identify gaps and coordinate with store teams to implement corrective actions.
- Prepare audit reports and ensure timely closure of observations.
Go-to-Market (GTM) & Campaign Execution
- Execute GTM campaigns and promotional activities as per brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for smooth campaign rollouts.
- Ensure proper installation and quality of all branding and merchandising materials.
Planogram Execution
- Implement approved planograms accurately across assigned stores.
- Collaborate with category and operations teams to optimize product placement and visibility.
- Monitor compliance and maintain merchandising standards.
Asset Management
- Maintain records of VM assets across stores.
- Monitor asset condition and coordinate maintenance, repairs, or replacements when required.
Training & Development
- Conduct VM training sessions for store teams.
- Educate staff on brand standards, seasonal displays, and planogram compliance.
- Promote VM best practices and awareness across locations.
Seasonal & Festive Execution
- Plan and execute visual merchandising initiatives for key retail seasons and festivals.
- Ensure timely implementation of décor, communication materials, and promotional displays.
Travel & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Travel across assigned stores for audits, training, and campaign evaluations.
- Work closely with Operations, Marketing, Procurement, and Store Teams to ensure seamless execution of VM initiatives.
Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, Design, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising within Retail, FMCG, Fashion, Lifestyle, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of retail display principles, planogram execution, and brand presentation standards.
- Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
