Role Overview
The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the manufacturing process to ensure that production targets are achieved efficiently, cost-effectively, and with the highest quality standards. The role involves supervising production teams, optimizing processes, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational policies.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Execution
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to meet output targets.
- Prepare production schedules based on demand forecasts and order requirements.
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Process Management
- Implement efficient production processes to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
- Monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams for timely availability of raw materials.
Quality Control
- Ensure production meets the required quality standards and specifications.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to maintain product consistency.
- Monitor defect rates and implement corrective measures.
Team Management
- Supervise and lead production staff and shift supervisors.
- Allocate tasks and ensure discipline and productivity on the production floor.
- Provide training and guidance to production team members.
Cost & Resource Management
- Monitor production costs and ensure cost-effective manufacturing.
- Optimize resource utilization including labor, machines, and raw materials.
- Track and reduce production losses and wastage.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety policies and operational guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Implement health and safety practices across the production facility.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, procurement, and logistics teams.
- Report operational updates and challenges to senior management.

Educational Qualification

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
