Position Summary
The Florist is responsible for creating attractive floral arrangements, bouquets, and decorative displays according to customer requirements and company standards. The role includes handling flowers, maintaining freshness, assisting customers, and ensuring creative and high-quality floral designs.
Key Responsibilities Floral Arrangement & Design
- Design and prepare bouquets, floral baskets, wreaths, and decorative arrangements.
- Customize floral designs according to customer preferences and occasions (weddings, birthdays, corporate events, funerals).
- Ensure creativity and quality in all floral products.
- Suggest suitable flowers and arrangements based on customer needs and budget.
Flower Care & Maintenance
- Receive and inspect flower deliveries for quality and freshness.
- Trim, water, and store flowers properly to maintain freshness.
- Maintain inventory of flowers, plants, and floral supplies.
- Remove damaged or wilted flowers regularly.
Customer Service & Sales
- Greet customers and assist in selecting flowers.
- Handle billing and process payments (if required).
- Promote special offers and seasonal arrangements.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
Inventory & Store Management
- Monitor stock levels and inform management for reordering.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
- Ensure proper display of flowers and decorative items.
- Assist in decorating store or event spaces as required.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Formal training in floral design is an advantage.
- 1–3 years of experience as a florist preferred.
- Freshers with creativity and design skills may apply.
Required Skills
- Creative and artistic ability.
- Knowledge of flower types and seasonal availability.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work under time pressure, especially during peak seasons.
- Basic computer/POS knowledge (optional).
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
