Job Title: Manager – Legal
Reporting To: Director
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai
CTC Band: ₹6,00,000 – ₹15,00,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal due diligence of properties and title verification to assess risk profile, the counterparty's legal capacity, the current owner's right over the property, and any encumbrances, in order to determine appropriate transaction terms
- Apply sound knowledge of business laws and regulations to identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks; align contractual obligations with business/commercial requirements
- Vet and draft contracts, including real estate instruments (lease deeds, leave and license agreements) and commercial contracts
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal matters and draft company contracts, RFPs, and other legal documents, with strong written and verbal communication
- Review sales price history, building code compliance, lease terms, and other due diligence parameters across various properties
- Travel to different locations to attend court matters; working knowledge of local courts is required
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 10–15 years, with strong grounding in drafting, vetting, litigation, and appeals
- Qualification: LLB/LLM from a recognized university, Bar Council enrollment
- Age: 40–45 years
