Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead innovative design projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive interior design concepts that reflect client goals, space functionality, and aesthetic vision.
- Create detailed drawings and presentations using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Coordinate with project managers and contractors to oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality standards throughout all phases of renovation and remodeling projects.
- Select materials, finishes, lighting fixtures, and furnishings that enhance the overall design while adhering to budget constraints.
- Prepare accurate construction documents and specifications using Bluebeam and CAD tools for seamless communication with vendors and contractors.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure adherence to design specifications, and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
- Manage client relationships by presenting design proposals clearly and incorporating feedback effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
Skills
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (3ds Max), Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting and visualization.
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles including color theory, lighting design, space planning, and material selection.
- Experience in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Familiarity with contracts, budgeting processes, construction documentation, and vendor negotiations related to renovation projects.
- Knowledge of lighting sales strategies combined with expertise in lighting design for various environments.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately for remodeling or renovation projects.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams effectively.
