Job description:
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience in manual testing and understanding of automation, API testing, performance testing, and emerging AI-driven testing practices. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web and/or mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure product quality
- Understand and analyze business requirements and functional specifications
- Create, review, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
- Identify, report, and track bugs/defects using defect management tools
- Perform regression, functional, and integration testing
- Work closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Participate in test planning and test strategy discussions
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and SDLC/STLC
- Knowledge of Python,AI/ML
- Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios
- Basic understanding of Automation Testing (Selenium or any tool)
- Knowledge of API Testing (Postman or similar tools)
- Familiarity with Performance Testing using JMeter
- Basic understanding of AI in testing / AI-based testing tools (good to have)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
- Exposure to defect tracking tools like JIRA
- Basic scripting knowledge (Java/Python) is a plus
