Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Salesperson / Sales Engineer to market and sell Neotech Boilers' range of industrial heating products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, understanding customer heating requirements, preparing techno-commercial proposals, and closing orders — while building long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and channel partners.
A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, as the role demands technical understanding of heating systems, steam applications, and combustion technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads and identify new business opportunities through field visits, industrial contacts, references, and digital inquiries.
- Market and sell Neotech Boilers' complete product range:
- Steam Boilers – for process steam requirements across industries
- Thermic Fluid Heaters – for high-temperature, indirect heating applications
- Hot Air Generators – for drying, curing, and heating processes
- Hot Water Generators – for commercial and industrial hot water requirements
- Conduct customer visits to understand process heating needs and recommend the appropriate product and configuration.
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial quotations, proposals, and tender documents in coordination with the technical team.
- Follow up on submitted offers, negotiate commercial terms, and work toward order closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with plant heads, purchase managers, consultants, contractors, and OEMs.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations, explaining operational advantages, fuel efficiency, and application fit.
- Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure smooth order execution and post-sale customer support.
- Track market developments, competitor products, industry trends, and customer feedback.
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets and submit regular sales reports to management.
- Support collection follow-up and ensure commercial closure of orders.
- Participate in trade exhibitions, industry events, and promotional campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications & ExperienceCriteriaDetails
Education - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred) / BE or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience - 1-2 years in industrial equipment or capital goods sales
Preferred Background - Boilers, burners, pressure vessels, thermic fluid systems, HVAC, heat exchangers, or related industrial products
Language - Proficiency in local regional language + English (Hindi is an added advantage)Required Skills
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of steam generation, thermic fluid heating, combustion, fuels (coal, biomass, oil, gas), and industrial heating processes.
- Sales Skills: Strong field sales, lead generation, proposal preparation, follow-up, and closing ability.
- Communication: Confident in technical discussions with purchase teams, plant engineers, and decision-makers.
- Negotiation: Ability to handle commercial negotiations while maintaining healthy margins.
- Documentation: Ability to read customer specifications, prepare quotations, and manage tender documents.
- Tools: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM or ERP systems is desirable.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory for customer meetings and business development.
