Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and patient-focused Hospital Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals, ensuring a welcoming experience while managing front-desk operations efficiently. Responsibilities include patient registration, appointment scheduling, call handling, billing support, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients, visitors, and attendants with professionalism and courtesy.
- Register patients and maintain accurate patient records.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments for doctors and consultants.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding hospital services.
- Assist patients with registration forms and documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Process billing, payments, and insurance-related information as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital records.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Manage daily reports, appointments, and front-office documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Any Graduate / Diploma in Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Executive, or Hospital Receptionist preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Email, Hospital Management Software).
- Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures is an advantage.
