Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Poultry Feed
Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager with 5–7 years of experience to lead our Poultry Feed division across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The candidate will be responsible for expanding the distribution network, managing dealer relationships, and driving sales growth in the regional poultry belt. This role requires an immediate joiner with deep geographical knowledge and a background in agri-input or animal feed sales.
Key Responsibilities: A. Sales & Distribution Responsibilities:
· Drive primary and secondary sales targets for poultry feed products.
· Identify, onboard, and manage a robust network of dealers and distributors.
· Expand market presence in key poultry hubs across AP and Telangana.
· Conduct field visits to hatcheries and large-scale poultry farms to build direct relationships.
B. Market Intelligence & Strategy Responsibilities:
· Monitor competitor pricing, schemes, and market trends.
· Execute marketing activities, including farmer meets and technical demonstrations.
· Manage and mentor a team of Field Sales Executives to ensure territory coverage.
· Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain a healthy credit cycle.
Required Skills:
· Strong knowledge of poultry nutrition and the regional poultry belt geography.
· Proven track record in achieving sales targets in agri-input or feed sectors.
· Fluency in Telugu (mandatory); proficiency in English or Hindi is a plus.
· Excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, B.Sc, BBA, or equivalent.
· 5–7 years of relevant experience in Agri-input, Animal Feed, or FMCG sales.
· Must possess a valid two-wheeler and license.
Preferred Skills:
· Prior experience working specifically with feed mills.
· Strong network within the AP/TS poultry dealer community.
· Ability to join immediately.
