Cloudsat Private Limited is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, server management, and system monitoring. This role requires strong technical expertise along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesCloud & Infrastructure Management
- Manage and maintain cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Configure servers, networking, storage, and infrastructure services.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and high availability.
- Perform infrastructure upgrades, patch management, and optimization.
DevOps & Automation
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform or Ansible.
- Improve deployment efficiency and reduce manual operational tasks.
Containerization & Orchestration
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Maintain container orchestration environments and clusters.
- Monitor container health and optimize resource allocation.
Monitoring & Incident Management
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting tools for infrastructure and applications.
- Identify and resolve system bottlenecks, outages, and performance issues.
- Ensure proper backup, disaster recovery, and incident response mechanisms.
Security & Compliance
- Implement cloud and infrastructure security best practices.
- Manage access permissions, SSL certificates, firewalls, and system security.
- Ensure infrastructure compliance with internal security policies.
Collaboration
- Support application deployment and production release activities.
- Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to implement automated test execution during build and release cycles.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other automation tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Knowledge of Git version control systems.
- Understanding of networking, load balancing, DNS, and security practices.
- Scripting experience in Bash, Shell, or Python.
- Basic Project Testing Skill
- Experience with automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Postman, or similar tools will be an added advantage.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant DevOps experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS / Azure / Kubernetes certifications.
- Experience with production server management.
- Exposure to scalable and high-traffic application environments.
