Responsibilities
- Marine system design for a large ocean-going vessel (piping, propulsion-adjacent systems, auxiliary systems)
- Support dual-fuel propulsion system integration (diesel + alternative fuel, methanol experience preferred)
- Liaise with classification society for design approval and compliance
- Coordinate with shipyard and client engineering teams
- Support basic and detailed design deliverables per project schedule
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's in Marine/Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering
- 6+ years marine systems design experience, shipyard or design house background
- Dual-fuel vessel design experience required; methanol-fuel system experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ABS/DNV/IRS etc classification requirements
- Willingness to mobilize as per site needs
- Experience with specialized/purpose-built vessels (dredgers, offshore support vessels) a plus
