Functional Consultant – Supply Planning (o9 Solutions)

About the Role
We are looking for a Functional Consultant – Supply Planning with experience in o9 Solutions, Kinaxis, or Blue Yonder to support supply chain planning implementations and business process optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in supply planning, inventory optimization, data analysis, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and implement supply planning solutions in o9 Solutions.
- Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of planning configurations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and explain solution designs.
- Validate, reconcile, and analyze data using SQL and Python.
- Support planning hierarchies, master data management, inventory optimization, and replenishment processes.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to integrations, APIs, ETL processes, and data transformations.
- Participate in requirement gathering, workshops, demonstrations, and project discussions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of total professional experience.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with o9 Solutions.
- Experience with Kinaxis or Blue Yonder will also be considered.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain processes.
- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Good Python knowledge for automation and validation activities.
- Understanding of data models, APIs, ETL processes, integrations, and data transformations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- End-to-end implementation experience.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies.
- Supply chain consulting experience.
- Experience working with global clients and cross-functional teams.
