As we strengthen both our print and digital presence, we are building a high-performance advertisement sales team focused on unlocking government, agency, and corporate advertising revenue at scale.
We are looking for ambitious sales professionals who understand how newspaper advertising business actually works on the ground.
The Role — Advertisement Sales Executive
We are hiring Advertisement Sales Executives with 2–5 years of relevant experience in newspaper, print, or media advertisement sales.
This is a field-intensive revenue role for professionals who can independently generate business from government departments, advertising agencies, PSUs, local corporates, educational institutions, healthcare brands, and retail advertisers.
If you understand CBC processes, know how to build advertiser relationships, and can convert market access into sustainable revenue, this opportunity is designed for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate advertisement revenue from government and commercial clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with advertising agencies, media planners, and direct advertisers
- Pitch print and digital advertising solutions to prospective clients
- Manage CBC, state government, PSU, and empanelled agency business opportunities
- Coordinate with internal editorial, design, and release teams for smooth execution
- Negotiate rates, close deals, and ensure timely payment collections
- Build strong market intelligence regarding competitor activity and advertiser spending
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Eligibility & Experience
Essential
- 2–5 years of experience in newspaper / print media advertisement sales
- Understanding of CBC / DAVP systems and government advertising workflows
- Existing relationships with local advertisers, agencies, or government departments
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client servicing skills
- Ability to work independently with strong ownership and target orientation
Preferred
- CBC / DAVP systems
- UP DIPR / DIPPR processes
- Uttarakhand government advertising ecosystem
- Existing agency and advertiser relationships that can be leveraged immediately
