Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer with 1–3 years of experience in PHP and WordPress development. The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, themes, and plugins while ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites using PHP, WordPress CMS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements.
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and functional websites.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and plugins.
- Ensure website security, backups, and regular updates.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers for smooth project execution.
- Maintain proper documentation and follow coding standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of PHP and WordPress development.
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience in custom theme and plugin development/customization.
- Familiarity with MySQL database management.
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of WooCommerce integration and customization.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git is a plus.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress and PHP development.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or other page builders.
- Knowledge of Laravel or other PHP frameworks will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
