Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher to join our dynamic team at Geetha School. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting with physical activities, handling English classes in grade 6 and basic computers for Std 3 to 5, employing progressive teaching methods that facilitate effective learning and overall development.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans, schedules, and learning materials aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Select and utilize a variety of teaching resources to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Student-Centric Approach:
- Analyze the needs, interests, strengths, and weaknesses of students to tailor lesson plans accordingly.
- Maintain a weekly academic work log to track student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Progress Monitoring:
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to ensure academic growth.
- Communicate with the school principal and coordinators regarding students who may require additional support.
- Quality Assessment:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum materials and propose relevant learning aids to enhance the learning experience.
- Professional Development:
- Attend school meetings, staff training sessions, conferences, and other continuous learning programs to stay updated on educational best practices.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching techniques to address diverse learning styles.
