Job Description – Key Account Manager (Logistics)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic accounts within our logistics vertical. The role requires strong understanding of Last Mile Operations, PTL/FTL movement, customer servicing, and operational coordination. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with a logistics or supply chain company and should be capable of handling client relationships end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain relationships with key logistics clients across Last Mile, PTL & transport operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client communication, escalations, operational alignment, and service reviews.
- Coordinate with operations, warehouse, transport, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of services.
- Monitor SLA/TAT adherence and proactively resolve operational issues.
- Conduct regular review meetings with clients and share performance reports/MIS.
- Identify opportunities for account growth, additional business, and service expansion.
- Ensure timely closure of client concerns, billing coordination, and operational follow-ups.
- Support implementation of new projects, routes, or operational models.
- Maintain strong understanding of logistics operations, fleet management, routing, dispatch planning, and PTL movement.
- Build long-term client relationships through proactive servicing and operational ownership.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 3–7 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, Last Mile or PTL operations.
- Prior experience with a logistics company is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of:
- Last Mile Delivery Operations
- PTL/FTL Movement
- Dispatch & Fleet Coordination
- Client Servicing & Escalation Handling
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.
- Comfortable handling multiple accounts and operational follow-ups simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, and operational tracking.

Qualification
- Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline.
