Job Overview:
As a Medical Coder, you will review clinical documentation, assign accurate medical codes, and ensure compliance with medical billing rules to optimize reimbursement processes
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze clinical documentation (physician notes, diagnostic reports, and discharge summaries) to determine appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes.
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes according to coding guidelines and regulations.
- Perform risk adjustment coding and coding quality checks.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines, patient privacy standards, and company coding policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve coding edits, denials, and documentation queries.

Mandatory Certifications:

Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
