Job Summary
Spirit Global Services is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist to join our logistics team. The candidate will be responsible for accurately entering customer orders and load information into our transportation management system (TMS) and supporting daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update loads/orders accurately in the company TMS.
- Enter pickup and delivery details, appointment times, PO/BOL numbers, weight, commodity, and other shipment information.
- Review orders for missing or incorrect information and follow up when required.
- Maintain accurate load records and update shipment status.
- Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, customers, and the operations team.
- Handle multiple loads while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
- 6 months+ experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, or order entry preferred.
- Experience with a TMS or transportation software is an asset.
- Strong computer and data-entry skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Canadian/US freight and 53' dry van operations is an asset.
