Fashion Designer – Bridal Couture & Customization
Location: Palarivattom, Kochi
About Us IOWA FASHION is a premium bridal and occasion wear boutique specializing in customized bridal lehengas, gowns, sarees, Indo-Western outfits, and couture designs. We are looking for a passionate designer who believes in creating exceptional garments—not just drawings.
Responsibilities
- Meet clients and understand their vision.
- Create original bridal and couture designs.
- Prepare detailed design sheets and production sketches.
- Select fabrics, colors, embroidery, and trims.
- Coordinate with tailors, pattern masters, dyers, and handwork teams.
- Attend fittings and solve design or fitting issues.
- Ensure every outfit meets Iowa’s quality standards before delivery.
- Manage multiple client orders and meet deadlines.
- Stay updated with fashion trends while creating unique designs.
Requirements.
- Excellent sketching skills (hand or digital).
- Good understanding of fabrics, dyeing, embroidery, and handwork.
- Strong communication and teamwork.
- Ability to work under deadlines without compromising quality.
- Positive attitude, responsibility, and problem-solving mindset.
