The Nurse is responsible for providing primary medical care, administering first aid, promoting occupational health, maintaining employee medical records, supporting statutory compliance, and assisting in emergency response to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees in case of injuries or illness.
- Assess patients and determine the need for referral to hospitals or specialists.
- Assist the Factory Medical Officer in conducting routine health consultations.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Health Surveillance
- Coordinate pre-employment, periodic, and annual medical examinations.
- Maintain employee health records and medical history confidentially.
- Monitor employees exposed to occupational hazards and maintain surveillance records.
- Conduct vision, hearing, blood pressure, BMI, and other basic health assessments.
Emergency Response
- Respond promptly to workplace emergencies and medical incidents.
- Coordinate ambulance services and hospital referrals when required.
- Maintain emergency medical equipment, first aid kits, and medicines.
- Participate in mock drills for fire, chemical spills, and medical emergencies.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
