Position Overview
We are looking for passionate, energetic, and tech-savvy Python Tutors to mentor students in foundational-to-advanced Python programming concepts. As a Codeyoung mentor, you will conduct live 1:1 online interactive classes, bringing coding concepts to life through real-world projects, game design, and problem-solving exercises.

Key Responsibilities
- Live Instruction: Deliver engaging 1:1 live interactive online classes in Python programming to students aged 8–17.
- Concept Mastery: Explain core programming concepts including variables, loops, data structures (lists, dictionaries, tuples), functions, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and popular libraries (e.g., Pygame, Tkinter, Turtle, Pandas).
- Student Engagement: Create an encouraging, interactive, and fun virtual classroom environment that builds confidence and enthusiasm for coding.
- Progress Tracking: Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback after sessions, and track learning milestones.
- Class Preparation: Review provided curriculum materials and lesson plans prior to sessions to ensure smooth and impactful delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Python Proficiency: Strong fundamental knowledge of Python programming and logic design.
- Teaching / Mentoring Aptitude: Prior experience in tutoring, teaching kids, or explaining technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner (formal teaching experience is a plus, but enthusiasm and communication skills matter most!).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a warm, patient, and engaging personality.
- Technical Setup:
- High-speed, stable internet connection.
- A working laptop/PC with a reliable webcam, microphone, and quiet workspace.
- Availability: Capability to work fixed shifts (5 hours/day, 6 days/week) aligned with target region time zones (US, UK, or Australia).
Shift Options & Working Hours
- Commitment: 5 hours/day | 6 days/week (1 rostered off-day per week)
- Available Shift Windows:
- US Shift: Early Morning (Targeting US hours)
- UK Shift: Late Evening / Night (Targeting UK hours)
- Australia Shift: Daytime (Targeting AU hours)

Selection Process
- Round 1: Demo Session (45 mins) — Present a 20-minute live demonstration on 2 assigned/selected Python topics, followed by a Q&A session.
- Round 2: VNA Conversation (15 mins) — A quick chat evaluating communication, schedule fit, and availability.
Pay: ₹300.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 per week
