Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Head to lead the company's sales and business expansion initiatives in the luxury interior design and fit-out segment. The ideal candidate should possess a strong industry network and proven expertise in generating high-value business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The role requires strategic planning, market expansion, team leadership, and end-to-end management of the sales cycle.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Business Strategy & Growth
· Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the company's vision and growth objectives.
· Identify new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities to expand the company's presence.
· Prepare annual sales plans, revenue forecasts, and business growth strategies.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
· Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, builders, developers, consultants, corporate clients, and HNIs.
· Conduct client meetings to understand project requirements and provide customized solutions.
· Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and maintain long-term business relationships.
3. Sales & Revenue Generation
· Lead the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
· Prepare and present business proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
· Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to maximize profitability.
· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
4. Team Leadership & Performance Management
· Lead, mentor, and motivate the business development team.
· Set KPIs and sales targets for team members and monitor their performance.
· Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance to improve productivity.
· Foster a high-performance and customer-centric work culture.
5. Coordination & Project Handover
· Coordinate with design, estimation, procurement, and execution teams for smooth project handover.
· Ensure client expectations are clearly communicated to internal teams.
· Monitor project progress and address client concerns proactively.
· Maintain strong coordination between sales and operations teams.
6. Networking & Brand Representation
· Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, trade shows, and networking forums.
· Develop strategic alliances and partnerships to strengthen the company's market position.
· Promote the company's brand image and create opportunities for business expansion.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
· MBA in Marketing or Business Management is preferred.
· 8–15 years of experience in Business Development or Sales, preferably in Luxury Interiors, Interior Fit-out, Construction or Real Estate.
· Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and handling high-value projects.
Preferred Candidate Profile
· Experience in luxury residential and commercial interior projects.
· Strong network of architects, builders, developers, consultants, and corporate clients.
· Excellent business acumen with a passion for luxury design and customer experience.
· Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of leading large business portfolios.
· Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and business development activities.
· Candidates from Air Hostess, Hospitality background may also apply.
