We are a UK-based freight forwarding and logistics company with a growing back-office team in Hyderabad. We are looking for an experienced, flexible and forward-thinking Finance Manager to join our Hyderabad office and support the financial operations of our international business.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience working with a European, UK, UAE, Qatar or wider international company and understands the standards, pace and professionalism required when supporting overseas directors and teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day finance operations from the Hyderabad office.
- Oversee invoicing, payment tracking, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and cash flow updates.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
- Monitor costs, margins and profitability across freight forwarding operations.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure job files, supplier costs and customer billing are accurately recorded.
- Reconcile supplier statements, customer accounts and bank transactions.
- Support credit control and help manage overdue payments.
- Prepare clear financial reports for UK-based directors and senior management.
- Assist with payroll, expense management and internal financial controls.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors and finance partners where required.
- Use accounting software, spreadsheets and digital finance tools to improve efficiency.
- Identify financial risks, cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in finance, accounting, management accounts or financial control.
- Experience working with a UK, European, UAE, Qatar or international company is strongly preferred.
- Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, supply chain or international trade is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of invoicing, reconciliations, credit control and financial reporting.
- Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Comfortable using accounting software and digital finance systems.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to work independently while staying aligned with UK-based directors.
- Flexible, proactive and able to adapt to changing business needs.
- Forward-thinking, commercially aware and confident suggesting improvements.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Trustworthy, reliable and able to handle confidential financial information.
- Able to work full-time from the Hyderabad office.

Pay: ₹1,542,830.40 - ₹1,851,396.48 per year
