Job Opening: Chemist / Quality Control Chemist (Lime & Mineral Products)
About Us:
White 'N' White Minerals Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of Calcined Lime, Quick Lime, Hydrated Lime, Limestone, and other inorganic mineral products. We are looking for an experienced Chemist to manage laboratory testing, quality control, process monitoring, and product quality assurance at our manufacturing plant.
Experience Required: 5+ Years
Qualification: B.Sc. Chemistry (Mandatory) | M.Sc. Chemistry will be preferred.
Preferred Location: Candidates from Jodhpur, Nagaur, Merta, Gotan, Makrana, Pali, Beawar, Kishangarh, Ajmer & nearby Rajasthan locations.
Key Responsibilities: Laboratory Testing & Analysis
- Conduct chemical and physical testing of Limestone, Quick Lime (aka Calcined Lime), and Hydrated Lime.
- Perform wet analysis and volumetric analysis using standard laboratory methods.
- Prepare and standardize chemical solutions, reagents, and titrations.
- Test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products as per quality standards.
- Analyze product parameters such as:
- CaO
- Available Lime
- $CaCO_3$
- MgO / $MgCO_3$
- LOI (Loss on Ignition)
- Insoluble Matter
- Moisture Content
- Residue
- Particle Size Distribution
- pH
Quality Control & Assurance
- Maintain quality records and laboratory reports.
- Identify deviations in quality and recommend corrective actions.
- Support production teams in maintaining product specifications.
- Participate in root cause analysis and quality improvement initiatives.
Laboratory Management
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Maintain laboratory safety and housekeeping standards.
- Manage testing schedules and ensure timely reporting.
- Maintain documentation as per company quality procedures.
Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
- Maintain digital records in Excel & ERP.
- Communicate testing results to the Plant Head and Management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- B.Sc. Chemistry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chemist / QC Chemist.
- Experience in mineral, limestone, lime, cement, construction materials, chemical, or related inorganic/non-metallic manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of wet chemical analysis and laboratory testing.
- Good knowledge of quality control systems and documentation.
