Job Role:
1. Handling shift operations in LPDC area. (Team size - 20 operators).
2. Troubleshooting LPDC process like core breakage, touch up, leakage repair etc.
3. Achieve LPDC shift target w.r.t Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Suggestions.
4. Training of new operators on LPDC Machine.
5. Communicate and take feedback w.r.t SQDCS. Solve operator concerns.
6. Maintain Floor Control, 1S /2S in area.
7. To work with different stake holders like customers, maintenance, EMU teams to achieve desired results.
Educational Qualification: Diploma/Graduation
(With Specialization): Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
1. Understanding and implementing shift planning.
2. Achieve shift output targets w.r.t LPDC Rejection %, OEE, Suggestions.
3. Monitor and maintain attendance %.
4. Motivate team to implement kaizens.
5. Train new operators as per WIS.
6. Multiskilling planning and implementation
7. Ensure shift safety adherence w.r.t PPE, KYT. Reporting near misses.
8. Handling of manpower (operators). Resolve or raise concerns timely.
9. Shop floor control and 1S /2S adherence.
10. Coordinate with Core, Togata, Finishing.
11. Doing or give input for effective 5 Why analysis, PDCA.
Competencies / Skills Functional/Technical:
- Sound knowledge of Low pressure die casting process
- Hands on experience in effectively handling shift operations.
- Work experience in 4W Die Casting products.
- Expertise in Casting Process and Rejection Control.
- Ability to do 5 Why, PDCA, 7 QC Tools is mandatory
- Proficiency in MS Excel Advanced & MS Power Point
