B2B Sales Executive – EdTech

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and target-driven B2B Sales Executive to expand our presence across educational institutions in Chennai and Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring schools, colleges, coaching institutes, and training organizations by promoting our EdTech solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new B2B business opportunities through cold calling, field visits, networking, and referrals.
- Meet Principals, Directors, Trustees, HODs, and other key decision-makers.
- Conduct product presentations and live demonstrations of EdTech solutions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with educational institutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipeline using CRM.
- Coordinate with the implementation and customer success teams for smooth onboarding.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, Institutional Sales, EdTech, SaaS, or Education Sales.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Tamil.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Willingness to travel within Chennai and nearby regions for client meetings.
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills
- Experience selling to schools, colleges, universities, or coaching institutes.
- Strong lead generation and client acquisition skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
