Job Summary:
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of Special Purpose Machines (SPM). The candidate should have basic knowledge of mechanical systems, machine maintenance, and troubleshooting. Freshers with strong technical knowledge and a willingness to learn are welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on SPM machines.
- Assist in identifying and troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, and trial runs.
- Inspect machine components and replace worn or damaged parts.
- Read and understand mechanical and assembly drawings.
- Maintain machine service records and daily maintenance reports.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime and support production activities.
- Coordinate with Design, Assembly, Electrical, and Production teams.
- Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
- Travel to customer locations for machine installation and service support when required.
Required Skills:
- knowledge of SPM machines and industrial machinery.
- Understanding of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and Dial Gauge.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to travel for service and installation activities.
Preferred Skills:
- Internship or project experience in machine maintenance or SPM.
- Knowledge of PLC-based machines is an added advantage.
