Network Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer responsible for designing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure for CCTV Surveillance, Access Control Systems, and IT Networks. The candidate should have strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, IP Networking, VLANs, PoE Switches, Routers, and Network Security.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Install and configure managed/unmanaged switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Plan and implement IP addressing schemes and network segmentation (VLANs).
- Configure and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, NVRs, and Access Control Systems on networks.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
- Configure DHCP, DNS, VPN, Port Forwarding, and Remote Access solutions.
- Perform network testing, commissioning, and documentation.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare network infrastructure requirements.
- Coordinate with installation and commissioning teams during project execution.
- Provide technical support for network-related issues at client sites.
- Ensure network security best practices are followed.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, VLANs, Routing, and Switching.
- Knowledge of PoE technology and IP-based surveillance systems.
- Experience with routers, managed switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
- Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting tools (Ping, Traceroute, IP Scanner, etc.).
- Understanding of VPN, DDNS, Port Forwarding, and Remote Monitoring.
- Familiarity with CCTV and Access Control integration.
- Knowledge of Cat6 cabling standards and network infrastructure.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, Matrix, ZKTeco, or similar platforms.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites within and outside the city.
Pay: ₹25,000.61 - ₹50,357.38 per month
