Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our finance company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities to meet sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential clients
- Develop and present proposals, pitches, and financial solutions to prospective clients
- Negotiate terms and close deals in line with company policies
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, credit, compliance) to ensure smooth onboarding of clients
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and client interactions in CRM
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Stay updated on financial products, market regulations, and industry trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the finance/banking sector
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Sound knowledge of financial products and services
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
