Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Solar Engineer to manage on-site operations and maintenance of solar PV systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in handling solar installations, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. This role requires frequent site visits, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine operation and maintenance (O&M) of solar PV systems at project sites.
- Monitor system performance and ensure maximum efficiency and uptime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to inverters, wiring, panels, and electrical components.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of solar installations.
- Maintain detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on system performance and service activities.
- Coordinate with installation and project teams for site execution and service support.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical norms, and company protocols.
- Support installation, commissioning, and testing of solar systems when required.
- Travel to multiple project sites as per operational needs.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in solar O&M, electrical maintenance, or field operations.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, and electrical circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and fault rectification.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for site work.
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.
Education:
- B.Tech / Diploma / ITI in Electrical or related field (preferred)
