Job Summary
The MEP Executive will support the planning, execution, monitoring, and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) activities across Shalby’s corporate projects and hospital infrastructure initiatives. The role will involve coordination with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are executed as per approved designs, quality standards, timelines, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and execution of MEP works including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other building services.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and hospital/unit teams for smooth execution of MEP activities.
- Review MEP drawings, layouts, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents.
- Conduct regular site visits and monitor work progress against approved drawings and project schedules.
- Ensure MEP installations are carried out as per approved specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate for testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
- Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance requirements of MEP systems at applicable locations.
- Assist in evaluating technical quotations, BOQs, and vendor proposals.
- Track project progress, material requirements, work completion, and pending activities.
- Identify technical issues at site and coordinate with concerned teams for timely resolution.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, drawings, approvals, and MEP-related records.
- Support compliance with applicable statutory, fire safety, electrical, and healthcare infrastructure requirements.
- Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Unit Engineering teams for project-related requirements.
- Assist in cost monitoring and ensure optimum utilization of materials and resources.
Key Skills
- Good knowledge of MEP systems and building services.
- Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and utility systems.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be preferred.
- Good vendor and contractor coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to Shalby units/sites as required.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
