Job Summary
The Pharmacist Trainee will undergo structured training in hospital pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory management, prescription review, patient counseling support, and compliance with hospital pharmacy standards. The trainee will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists to gain practical experience in clinical and retail pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately as per prescriptions.
- Verify medication labels, quantities, and expiry dates under supervision.
- Support inventory management, stock monitoring, and replenishment activities.
- Maintain pharmacy records and documentation as per hospital policies.
- Ensure proper storage of medicines and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and arranging pharmaceutical supplies.
- Participate in medication reconciliation and prescription screening under supervision.
- Provide basic medication-related information to patients as directed by pharmacists.
- Support implementation of quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in handling pharmacy billing and documentation processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of pharmacy work areas.
- Participate in training programs, departmental meetings, and continuing education activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm).
- Valid State Pharmacy Council registration (preferred).
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
