We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrical Maintenance Technician to handle plant machinery maintenance and ensure smooth functioning of equipment and utilities. The candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minimizing machine downtime to support uninterrupted production operations.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Identify machine issues and carry out troubleshooting and repair activities.
- Attend machine breakdowns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Minimize machine downtime through effective maintenance practices.
Preventive Maintenance
- Carry out preventive and scheduled maintenance activities as per the maintenance plan.
- Ensure proper upkeep, lubrication, and functioning of machines.
- Monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities or recurring issues.
Electrical Maintenance
- Handle electrical maintenance activities of plant machinery and equipment.
- Check and maintain motors, electrical panels, wiring, pumps, compressors, and related equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently.
- Coordinate with external technicians/vendors whenever required.
Safety & Documentation
- Follow plant safety rules and maintenance procedures at all times.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, machine breakdowns, and repairs.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools and equipment.
General Responsibilities
- Support production teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance area.
- Carry out additional maintenance-related tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant field preferred.
- Prior experience in plant electrical maintenance preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, motors, and panels.
- Ability to identify and resolve machine and electrical issues.
- Responsible, disciplined, and willing to work in a manufacturing/plant environment.
Salary / Compensation
- Salary: As per experience and company standards.
Pay: ₹8,470.07 - ₹29,916.78 per month
