ESTIMATION ENGINEER: We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. The role will be based at our India office and will primarily support the UAE business by managing RFQs, tenders, BOQs, quotations and government procurement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, review and analyze RFQs from customers, contractors, system integrators and business partners.
- Study BOQs, technical specifications, drawings, scope of work and commercial requirements.
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates, BOQs, quotations and pricing schedules.
- Obtain and compare supplier/distributor pricing, availability, lead times and technical information.
- Identify suitable products, brands, models and technically compliant alternatives.
- Prepare tender compliance sheets, commercial submissions, clarifications, exclusions and assumptions.
- Monitor UAE government procurement portals and relevant tender/RFQ platforms.
- Download, evaluate and organize tender documents and submission requirements.
- Prepare and upload technical and commercial tender documentation within deadlines.
- Maintain quotation, tender, supplier pricing and opportunity trackers.
- Coordinate closely with the UAE sales, technical and project teams.
- Follow up with suppliers and internal teams to close pricing and technical gaps before submission.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in estimation, tendering, quotation preparation or pre-sales.
- Hands-on experience in RFQ and tender preparation.
- Good understanding of BOQ preparation, quantity analysis and cost estimation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and commercial requirements.
- Strong analytical, numerical and documentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and deadline management.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong coordination, vendor follow-up and negotiation skills.
