Position Overview
We are seeking an Accountant or Bookkeeper with strong customer service skills and a passion for customer satisfaction to join our growing team. You will support QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online (QBD-to-QBO) migrations, help clients transition smoothly, and ensure exceptional customer experience at every stage. Your accounting expertise is critical - QBO knowledge can be trained. Your commitment to customer satisfaction and willingness to learn are key.
Key Responsibilities
Data Validation & Migration Support
- Review and validate accounting data before and after migrations
- Identify data discrepancies using accounting knowledge and QB software
- Support the migration technical team by providing accounting perspective
Customer Walkthroughs & Training (Primary Focus)
- Conduct client walkthroughs of QBO features post-migration
- Explain accounting functions in QBO in clear, non-technical language
- Answer client questions about accounting, chart of accounts, and QBO features
- Proactively reach out to clients to ensure smooth transition and satisfaction
Customer Satisfaction & Relationship Management
- Make client satisfaction the top priority in every interaction
- Respond promptly and professionally to all client inquiries
- Follow up post-migration to address concerns and gather feedback
- Build strong relationships and identify ways to enhance client experience
Learning & Development
- Quickly learn QuickBooks Online features and best practices
- Stay current with QB updates and changes
- Explore AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to improve productivity and customer communication
Documentation & Process Support
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and migration outcomes
- Contribute to training materials and documentation improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Accounting & Financial Knowledge
- Strong accounting fundamentals (required) - chart of accounts, double-entry, reconciliation
- Experience in accounting or bookkeeping role
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
QuickBooks Knowledge
- Basic familiarity with QuickBooks Online OR QuickBooks Desktop (preferred but not required)
- Quick learner - ability to master new software quickly
- Comfortable with Windows and cloud-based applications
Customer Service & Communication
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Excellent customer service orientation - passionate about client satisfaction
- Ability to explain accounting and software concepts clearly to non-technical clients
- Patient, professional, and responsive communication style

- Experience working directly with clients or customers
- Background in bookkeeping, accounting, or accounting support
- ProAdvisor certification or willingness to pursue it
- Familiar with accounting software beyond QB

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
